Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business within the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different types of forklifts, presses, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
The business began crane production during the year 1963. Eventually, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
