Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
Terex offers Genie DC and Bi-Energy equipment which are emission-free and provide quiet operation for the most sensitive work applications. Like for instance, in industrial settings where the equipment needs to travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the flexibility and benefits of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC equipment.
Several of the important features provided by this combination consist of over, out and up positioning capabilities for complete versatility. What's more, the zero tail-swing provided by most models, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.
The proportional and drive controls offer the machine with smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. For quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive environments, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models available to function with an extra working range for specific tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machinery by Terex are ideal for both indoor and outdoor construction applications. This model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine up, out and over positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach offered by this particular model is second to none in the market.
Diesel engine equipment on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that provides zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machinery are ideal in small or narrow places. Furthermore, they provide terrain and grade maneuverability, utmost power and exceptional torque. The diesel engines are quiet overall too. Nearly all models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to offer great flexibility on uneven and rough surfaces.
High ground clearance is provided in 4 or 2 wheel drive models, while the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom models are available and offer extra range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models too.
