Daewoo Diesel Forklifts Canada

A forklift is an essential piece of equipment in the material handling business. Also known as a powered industrial truck, a lift truck is used to lift and transport materials from one location to another. These trucks transformed the manufacturing and the warehousing businesses. Now they are utilized for a wide array of applications and are considered to be essential for material handling.

A forklift is a piece of equipment that is driven by an operator who uses the truck to transport loads around a worksite or warehouse. Businesses that own their own lift trucks must maintain the equipment to ensure they have a long lifespan. Like any machine parts, forklift components, are prone to wear and tear and would eventually become worn. In order to make sure the forklift functions efficiently and safely, you must replace damaged or worn parts occasionally. Every forklift truck part is made for a particular purpose. Below is a list of several forklift attachments and their purposes:

Forklift Fork Positioner: The hydraulic attachment known as forklift fork positioner helps to position the forks. Tines could move both separately or simultaneously. Without the forklift fork positioner, the lift truck operator should adjust forklift forks by hand for different load sizes.

Side Shifter: The hydraulic side shift attachment allows the operator to laterally shift the backrest and the forklift forks. This specific attachment makes it easier to place the cargo without having to change the truck's position.

Pole Attachments: These long metal poles are intended to carry carpet rolls. The poles work better for this purpose compared to forklift forks.

Telescopic Forklift Forks: Telescopic forklift forks are hydraulic attachments which allow the operator to load and unload from a single side by handling two pallets of various sizes at the same time. This particular type of attachment is great for handling pallets in 'double deep racking'.
