Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is targeting a new customer base. Various businesses, from the natural stone and concrete businesses, to the steel industry, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all relying upon and working with heavy duty machines. The power and efficiency offered by the models keep operational costs low and offer the very best conditions for efficient work. These equipment can excel in the most demanding environments.
Providing the required power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines which have 6 cylinders. These types of forklifts could take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It has the ability to climb on rough terrain and steep slopes and offers great acceleration too.
The operator could utilize a switch in order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on tough terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. Moreover, just by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving feature. The forklift's fully automatic transmission gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment simple to maneuver and comfortable to utilize.
The well-ventilated cabin provides a comfortable and spacious working place. The cabin combines fatigue-free work with high performance. The powerful air conditioning and heating system helps make sure that the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was ergonomically designed to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the unit's overall safety. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on offering the nice atmosphere which Hyundai equipment are supposed to have.
