Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their equipment have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a huge variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your needs, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being made and engineered all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For instance, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
