Within the Province of Alberta, Calgary is the largest city. The city is located approximately eighty kms east of the Rocky Mountains within the south of the province. Parks in northwest consist of: 12 Mile Coulee, Baker Park, Bowness Park and Bowmont Park; Southwest parks consist of: Battalion Park, Clearwater Park, Douglas Fir Trail, and Edworthy Park; Southeast parks consist of: Carburn Park, Beaverdam Flats, Elliston Park and Centenary Park; North East Parks consist of: Bottomlands Park, Laycock park and Big Marlborough Park.
