Taylor Container Forklift
Ever since the year 1967, Taylor Machine Works has built, designed and marketed empty container handlers. The "Big Red" line of empty handlers reflects the knowledge and experience gained in those years. The Taylor empty handlers are called the "All American" units since they are built and designed in the United States. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The company strives to maintain their commitment of designing and building the best and most productive, most reliable container handling machinery around, anywhere in the world.
So as to better meet your particular requirements, the companies empty container handlers are outfitted with a huge assortment of attachments. The following is a list of units with their standard mast and attachment.
The TECDS-150H Attachment expands to be able to top pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers. Any containers measuring over 40 feet should have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has electrical signal lights inside the cab, 4 corner twist-locks, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.
The ELME attachment is engineered to handle 2 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers simultaneously. This simultaneous ability can be completed with the containers stacked on top of each other. Also, this type of attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks that insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings and the upper containers bottom corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be accomplished.
Every Taylor unit container lift truck has a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air after-cooled or charged air to air diesel engine. Some of the basic engine features consist of diagnostic monitor and electronic maintenance, engine/transmission protection, less overall emissions, water/fuel separator and improved fuel economy. Furthermore, the transmission available used for all 3 units is a power-shift, non-modulated, 3-speed, fully reversing transmission. It comes complete with remote shift control and inching capacity.
These models have been carefully engineered to deal with the worst weather conditions and the roughest atmosphere's that nature could throw at them. These units could function with ease through rough terrain, thick mud and deep snow. Having the ability to rely on a dependable machinery when you are working in lousy weather conditions and in the middle of nowhere is certainly an important investment for your company.
